Prime Minister to Launch 27th National Youth Festival in Nashik, Maharashtra on January 12th

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the 27th National Youth Festival in Nashik, Maharashtra, on January 12th, where he will address the nation’s youth. Union Minister Shri Anurag Singh Thakur announced that the festival, marking the 161st anniversary of Swami Vivekanand Ji, is being held in Nashik to coincide with the celebration of National Youth Day on January 12th.

He also mentioned that thousands of youth from every state and union territory in the country have assembled in the City of Kumbh for the event.

Partner Ministries and their district-level offices will establish stalls featuring diverse exhibitions, activities, enrollment, and awareness campaigns on January 12, 2024, alongside the main program in the venue. The focus areas include Traffic Awareness, Nutrition & Diet, Products of KVIC startups, PMEGP beneficiaries, etc. These events are being curated at the district level on the digital MY Bharat platform to enhance youth outreach. This approach ensures that each district’s unique character and youth aspirations are showcased in the outdoor activities. Youth nationwide can express interest in participating in activities near them and share photos and media of their involvement on the MY Bharat platform.
