Delhi faced significant power cuts for 1.5 to 2 hours on Tuesday afternoon due to a snag at a Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) substation in Uttar Pradesh. The outages impacted several parts of East, Southeast, and Central Delhi, including water treatment plants at Sonia Vihar. Affected areas included ITO, Laxmi Nagar, Lajpat Nagar, Jamia, Narela, Model Town, Rohini, Gopalpur, Sabzi Mandi, Wazirpur, and Kashmiri Gate.
