US Air Force Colonel Raja Chari, an Indian-American, has been chosen by NASA and the European Space Agency as the Commander for the SpaceX Crew-3 mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Joining him will be NASA’s Tom Marshburn as pilot and ESA’s Matthias Maurer as a mission specialist. The mission, slated for launch next year, aims to ferry astronauts to the ISS.
