On Thursday night in South Delhi’s Mehrauli area, a cab driver was reportedly stabbed by three people, including a minor, after a traffic jam where he was unable to yield to them.
The identities of all three suspects have been established, and the minor has been taken into custody.
At approximately 8:40 pm, three boys on a scooter approached him from behind, honking for space. The cab driver couldn’t yield due to congestion, resulting in a verbal altercation. Subsequently, one of the scooter riders reportedly stabbed Kumar in the chest with a knife before swiftly leaving with his associates.
Kumar was transported to Safdarjung Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival by the medical team. As per police information, the body has been forwarded for a post-mortem examination.
