On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s YouTube channel marked a major achievement, exceeding 20 million subscribers and becoming the top-subscribed channel among prominent world leaders. Modi’s channel is notably surpassing the subscriber count of both international and Indian counterparts.
In the second position is former Brazilian President Jair Bolsanora, with a relatively modest 6.4 million subscribers, a fraction of Modi’s substantial count.
The Ukraine President holds the third spot with 1.1 million subscribers, while the United States President, Joe Biden, is fourth with a mere 794,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.
In terms of views, Modi’s channel remains dominant, achieving a remarkable 2.24 billion views in December 2023. This staggering figure is 43 times higher than Zelenskyy’s, who holds the second-highest number of views worldwide. Modi’s YouTube success underscores his digital proficiency and widespread global appeal.
Other notable world leaders on YouTube include Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan with 419,000 subscribers, France’s Emmanuel Macron with 316,000 subscribers, Argentina’s Alberto Fernández with 81,200 subscribers, and Canada’s Justin Trudeau with 69,600 subscribers.
