Two individuals lost their lives, while one sustained injuries due to a wall collapse near Film City’s gate no. 2 on Goregaon’s Aarey Colony road on Saturday evening. The incident, reported at 6:30 pm, involved the collapse of ’60-feet-long and 20-feet high walls’ near the Film City’s second gate, behind Prime Fox production, which fell on six individuals. Of the six, three were rescued before the fire brigade arrived.
Two men, identified as Sintu Mandal (32) and Jaidev Prahlad Biswas (45), were taken to HBT hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Another individual, identified as Vikram Mandal (29), sustained injuries in the incident.
