The CBI has filed a chargesheet against Deepti R Pinniti, a self-styled investigator from Bhubaneshwar, who made baseless claims on YouTube regarding a cover-up between India and the UAE government over Sridevi’s death. The CBI revealed that her allegations were founded on forged documents. Deepti also made similar sensational claims about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Sridevi passed away in Dubai in February 2018 after drowning in a bathtub, while Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his room on June 14, 2020.
The CBI revealed that Deepti, through her social media accounts, commented on the deaths of Sridevi and Sushant Singh Rajput, presenting alleged evidence including forged letters from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The CBI filed a complaint against Deepti based on a report from Mumbai-based lawyer Chandni Shah, who noted discrepancies in the records Deepti presented from the UAE government in her videos and live sessions, suspecting them to be forged.
Deepti Pinniti, described as a businesswoman investigating mysterious deaths in Bollywood, asserted in a YouTube video that her team traveled to Dubai to obtain “original documents” related to SSR, Sridevi, Disha Salian, and others. She claimed to have submitted these documents to the court, addressing questions about why she shares them on social media rather than going directly to court. Deepti mentioned having witnesses from Dubai to support her assertions.
