The Delhi government has declared a three-day grand Ramlila event for Delhi residents, commencing on Saturday. The event, scheduled at the Pyarelal Auditorium near ITO, will showcase a live three-hour performance presented by the Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra, running from 4 pm to 7 pm.
The event is open to all and free of charge, as stated. Delhi’s Minister of Art, Culture, and Languages, Saurabh Bharadwaj, announced the event, expressing disappointment over the denial of permission by the BJP-led Centre to host the Ramlila at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan. The government’s Hindi Academy has been actively involved in planning this event over the past few days.
